College + Being Me + Not Sleeping Well = Crazy Life

The semester is winding down (and I just love how professors get a kick out of watching students stress out and go insane with all the papers, projects, discussions, presentations, etc...) Here's a rundown of what's been going on in my crazy life throughout the past couple weeks.

• Family came into town. It was pretty fun. During the week, we went to Antelope Island, ate some good food, worked on the wedding, went baby stuff shopping, played, and just enjoyed each other's company. I skipped school and work on Monday AND Friday. Those are the only two times that I've sluffed since freshman year (what can I say? I try to be a good student)
• After they left, I needed to get back to my normal routine (ha) but before that, we went to Kaysville to surprise Jake for his 30th Birthday! It was way fun. Leslie took some funny pictures and a movie I do believe so watch her blog for those.

• Okay, I am in the process of getting back to my normal routine (still ha) It's difficult to want to do my homework (mostly writing papers now, although I did have three presentations on Monday and Tuesday and I hope they went well) and now I just need to focus on exams and papers.

• I went to Lee's to get 8th Continent Light Chocolate Soymilk and they didn't have it! BOO! I had to settle for the regular chocolate soymilk... however, I did buy two, not just one, but TWO packs of mint chocolate cookies (aka grasshoppers/thin mints) which I have been craving for a long time.

• The earthworm population in Logan is dwindling. I swear there are hundreds, maybe thousands of worms dead on the sidewalks. In a way it's kind of sad, but the sight and smell of the worms makes me want to upchuck and I almost did the other morning.
  

• The Horses won today during the Wild, Wild Women Showdown in HIST/WGS 4550! I also got some extra credit points for coming up with the second place game show title of "Remember the Heroes and the She-roes!" (Maya Angelou said that fyi) I think it was because of my horse I brought to class... oh, and we won pink cowboy hats. Pretty neat eh?
• Let's see what else has been happening... oh, I scratched my face with my fingernail yesterday, got a couple of paper cuts, put a nice chunk of change into my savings account, I haven't been sleeping all that well (I blame the silly weather-it's still snowing in Logan) and the best one... I HAVEN'T DIED OF STRESS!!! At least, not yet. I'll keep you all updated on whether or not I'm alive. Stay tuned sports fans.
