Daddy-Daughter Date
Beware, this is a longer post...I got to go on a belated daddy-daughter birthday date on Friday. It was great! We went on a walk around the golf course and saw two bald eagles and some geese. We came home, got ready, and headed to the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium.

Such a fun place. One of the elephants was really close to the fence and they were feeding it bamboo. A very cool sight to see. The tiger was actually roaming instead of sleeping, Bobby the monkey was being Bobby the monkey, Beethoven and Qannik
(beluga whales) were showing off, I made friends with some meerkats
, and the lemurs were chilling.
After the zoo, we went to Tatanka
Take-Out. Did you know that buffalo is America's original health food? It's a pretty cool little restaurant in Tacoma.
Dad got a bison melt and I got spuds and veggies. So delicious. Needless to say, we cleaned our plates.
After lunch, we went back home. I played the Wii
with Tony and Danny for a while. Then we went to see Taken (I've seen it before but it was great nonetheless). Once we got home, we watched some college basketball and ate some dinner. Then we popped in Transformers and I actually stayed awake this time (last time I watched it with Jared and fell asleep). It was a great day with my family. Now it's time to head back to Logan. The good thing is, I will see my family in April when they come to Utah for their spring break! Yipee
! Thanks my daddy for the wonderful date!
