Some interesting facts about Lincoln that I found online here...
- He was the first president to have a beard.
- He was born on February 12, 1809 and died on April 15, 1865 at the age of 56. (GO FEBRUARY BIRTHDAYS!)
- He was the first president to be assassinated.
- He was the tallest president (6 foot 4 inches).
He was president at a time of great turmoil in the country but he handled it extremely well (at least I think so) and he has some great quotes.

This isn't really a fact about Abe himself but something he did.... He changed it so Thanksgiving was celebrated on the 4th Thursday of November... it was originally November 26th, my birthday. Interesting, no?
